Hard Rock Atlantic City opens with Gary Platt chairs

9 July 2018

(PRESS RELEASE) -- When the new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City opened its doors on 28 June, a new era in entertainment was born in Atlantic City. Part of that entertainment is the casino’s 2,100 slot machines, all of which are accompanied by a chair from Gary Platt Manufacturing.

Gary Platt won a contract at the new property and provided its Monaco and Lido Revo models.

Hard Rock Atlantic City Vice President of Slots Dave Polizzi said, “We created something new and incredibly exciting for Atlantic City – we created an entertainment experience. We invested significantly in the property to give our guests a fantastic experience. Part of that will be ensuring their comfort in the casino, and we are very pleased with our decision of selecting Gary Platt chairs.”

“From coast to coast, new casinos, remodeled casinos, and casinos who want to give their guests a more comfortable experience are turning to Gary Platt and our extensive line of custom-built, hand-crafted chairs,” said Gary Platt Vice President of Sales Joshua Corrick. “We are very proud to have won the Hard Rock’s trust and their business, and we are confident their players will love our chairs.”

Gary Platt’s stunning new Monaco chair has been turning heads around the world with the elegance and beauty of Grace Kelly combined with the thrill and edge of Formula One. Operators can select from variety of upholstery options and base styles, all surrounding Gary Platt’s patented foam interior.

The strikingly curvaceous Lido features Gary Platt’s signature center stitching on the front and seat, and an open back where each casino can select a style that fulfills each property’s individual brand. Lido offers a range of upholstery and base options.
