Harbor Jam Concert Series extended at Rivers Casino Schenectady

2 August 2019

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady announced that it is extending its free Harbor Jam Summer Concert Series with an encore performance by Little River Band on Saturday, 7 September 2019. The smooth rock hit machines will take the stage at 6 p.m. at the Mohawk Harbor Amphitheater.

Dubbed by Eagles founding member, the late Glenn Frey, as the “the best singing band in the world,” Little River Band enjoyed huge chart success in the '70s and '80s, and now has over 30 million total album and CD sales. Fans will be singing along to all their hits including “Reminiscing,” “Cool Change,” “Lonesome Loser,” “Lady,” “The Night Owls,” “Take It Easy On Me,” “Help Is On Its Way,” “Happy Anniversary,” “Man On Your Mind” and “It’s A Long Way There.”

“We’ve had another fantastic series of shows so far, and simply didn’t want Harbor Jam to end so soon,” said Rivers Casino & Resort General Manager, Justin Moore. “We think having Little River Band close out the free concert series is the perfect way to say thank you to the public for their continued support. We also couldn’t be happier with all of our fantastic sponsors and community partners who help make Harbor Jam such a big success.”

This summer’s Harbor Jam concert series has been a huge hit with Capital Region concertgoers, with classic performances by AMBROSIA, David Victor (formerly of BOSTON), John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band, and premier Crosby, Stills & Nash tribute, CSN Songs. Along with the concert series finale with Little River Band, upcoming shows include John Waite, The Georgia Satellites, and The Lords of 52nd Street (Legends of Billy Joel Band).

The concert series is sponsored by Druthers Brewing Company, Albany Broadcasting Company (WYJB/B-95.5), General Electric, The Galesi Group, Proctors Theater, Discover Schenectady, Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation, Mercury Screenprinting and DeCrescente Distributing Company.

Food and beverages are available for purchase and provided by Rivers Casino & Resort.

There are no age restrictions to attend Harbor Jam. Concertgoers are welcome to bring chairs and blankets for seating. All concerts are rain or shine; there will be no rain dates scheduled.

Remaining Harbor Jam 2019 Schedule:
