Golden Nugget Atlantic City summer entertainment

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Golden Nugget Casino, Hotel & Marina unveils its plans for the summer with an exclusive look at its entertainment lineup, featuring the return of Dick Fox’s Golden
Boys, and My Big Gay Italian Christmas, as well some fresh faces including The Platters
with The Drifters and Cornell Gunter’s Coasters, and more.

The Grand - Dick Fox’s Golden Boys
Saturday, 7 July, 9 p.m.
Comprised of Frankie Avalon, Fabian & Bobby Rydell, the Golden Boys encompass three
of the most popular teen idols of the late 50s and early 60s. The boys continue to
entertain generations of fans with their all-time greatest hits including Avalon’s first
number-one hit “Venus,” Fabian’s Billboard Hot 100 “Turn Me Loose,” and Rydell’s million-selling “Wild One.”

The Grand- My Big Gay Italian Christmas
Saturday, 28 July, 8 p.m.
Presented by Bianco Productions, “My Big Gay Italian Christmas” returns for another Christmas in July featuring fan favorite and three-time Daytime Emmy award winner Anthony J. Wilkinson. Wilkinson will return to the stage as Anthony Pinnunziato, spreading Christmas cheer, Italian style, with a show loosely based on his own life story.

Saturday, 4 August, 9 p.m.
This Philadelphia native has made a lasting impact on the way we hear popular music using innovative multimedia and technology. With the title of his 1973 solo album, A Wizard, A True Star, one can surmise this multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter comes with years of accomplishments.

The Grand- The Platters with The Drifters and Cornell Gunter’s Coasters
Saturday, 18 August, 9 p.m.
Known as one of the most successful vocal groups of the early rock-and-roll era, The Platters join with The Drifters and Cornell Gunter’s Coasters to perform a nostalgic variety of doo-wop and R&B classics from the 1950s.
