Golden[Star] Network stops accepting U.S. players

The following is an excerpt from an affiliate email:

"...As a result of the strict legislation recently passed in the US, there has been some uncertainty regarding available US payment options. As a consequence, we are reluctant to accept Registrations and Purchases from New US Players, as there are limited payment options should the player have a cashin.

"In view of these circumstances, we believe that the only honorable option is to no longer allow New Registrations from US players. Our unfortunate failing, was to not promptly communicate this decision to our Affiliate Partners; and for this we sincerely apologize.

"We will continue to work towards growing our Affiliates in the non US markets and have therefore brought out some exciting Free Play offerings, which we believe will make it easier to attract New Players from these markets..."
