German state Schleswig-Holstein approves online gambling law

GERMANY -- The German state of Schleswig-Holstein has approved online gambling with the introduction of new laws, Reuters reported.

This spells change for the previously more restricted German gambling laws, the report said.

The EU Commission have backed the Schleswig-Hostein laws, which will see licenses in place for March 2012, Reuters reported.
