Foxwoods reports April 2017 slot revenue

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino has reported slot revenue of $39.4 million for the month of April 2017. This figure is down 3% compared to $40.7 million in April of 2016. Handle for the month was $510.5 million, up 2.9% from the $496.3 million wagered in the same month in 2016.

Foxwoods' contribution to the Connecticut Special Revenue Fund in April 2017 is $10.5 million, bringing the cumulative contribution to the state since Foxwoods opened in 1992 to over $3.9 billion.

As part of an ongoing regional community spotlight, Foxwoods showed its appreciation for Massachusetts residents in April with the Wicked Good Times celebration. Bay State natives were treated to exciting offers and exclusive prizes all month long, including bonus play on slots and table games and luxurious overnight getaways. April at Foxwoods was especially sweet, with the grand opening of Sugar Factory American Brasserie, hosted by supermodel Nina Agdal and actor Nick Cannon, who manned the turntables as the evening's DJ. Over at the Grand and Fox Theaters, the month's diverse entertainment lineup included Latin superstar Marc Anthony, platinum-selling rock band The Fray, comedian Sarah Silverman and a five-day residency from Cirque √Čloize Cirkopolis.
