Footballer says life is 'back on track' thanks to Gamblers Anonymous

STOKE CITY, England -- British footballer Matthew Etherington is overcoming his struggle with gambling addiction, thanks to Gambling Anonymous, The Guardian reported.

Etherington, who plays for Stoke City, attended Gambling Anonymous, twice a week, for the last six months, The Guardian report detailed.

The footballer said he'd continue to "do that for the rest of his life", the report said.
