Florida: Genting moves away from voters

TALLAHASSEE, Florida -- Genting appears to be giving up on persuading Florida voters to approve casinos, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

Genting instead want to work directly with the Legislature as it interrogates gambling more broadly in the state of Florida, the report said.

This marks a shift in Genting's approach to establishing a casino, the Sun-Sentinel explained.
