Fernley Nonsmoking Casino Plan Gains OK

FERNLEY, Nevada -- As reported by the Reno-Gazette Journal: "Fernley is preparing to be home to a nonsmoking casino.

"The Fernley Planning Commission recently voted to approve a special-use permit application submitted by W.C.W. Corp.

"The permit would allow for a 9,000-square-foot casino on the north side of Main Street, across the street from a 7-Eleven.

"...W.C.W. Director Scott Tate told the commission the nonsmoking casino venture was a risk, but his research found this might be the time..."
