Expansion Begins at Oregon Casino

GRAND RONDE, Oregon – As reported by the Portland's Daily Journal: "Work has begun on a $20 million project to expand the hotel at the Spirit Mountain Casino.

"The five-story, 150-room expansion would connect to the existing Spirit Mountain Lodge, owned and operated by the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde.

"Casino marketing director Adam Henny told Portland's Daily Journal of Commerce that the expansion comes as demand increases for weddings, class reunions and other large events. Tribal officials also want to keep up with growing numbers of visitors to the casino.
