England: Student gambling problems 'on rise'

LONDON, England -- British charity GamCare reports an increase in helpline calls by students with gambling problems, according to the BBC.

The charity cites pressure on new students away from home for the first time as one of the risk factors.

Online gambling is one of the main draws because of high speed access in student accommodation, the BBC reported.
