England: Green Lanes 24-hour 'gambling centre' has application denied

LONDON, England -- A gambling shop in London has been refused permission to operate 24 hours a day, according to a report in the Harringay Independent

Harringay Council rejected Agora's application, reported The Harringay Independent.

Agora attempted an appeal to the Planning Inspectorate, which cited concern the move would change the character of the area, the report said.
