Empire Resorts wants racino expansion at Monticello

MONTICELLO, New York -- Empire Resorts has a new plan its proposing for Monticello Casino & Raceway, The Times Record-Herald reported.

The new plan includes a 200 room hotel initially, followed by two further hotels and renovations to the current racino, the report said.

The $400 million proposal includes a water park, and would create up to 250 jobs, The Times-Herald noted.
