Dubai World financial problems should not affect Aqueduct bid

NEW YORK -- MGM's bid to run VLT's at Aqueduct's won't be affected by Dubai World's troubles, according to report in The Thoroughbred Times.

The bid will be unaffected because MGM is the gaming operator and doesn't have a financial interest in the proposed racino, The Thoroughbred Times reported.

In total five groups are competing for the contract, the report said.
