del Lago Resort and Casino will host Trace Adkins at The Vine

24 January 2017

(PRESS RELEASE) -- del Lago Resort and Casino is pleased to announce country star Trace Adkins will take the stage at the resort and casino's entertainment venue, The Vine, on 7 April 2017. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, 27 January. The $440 million state-of-the-art destination, opening 1 February, will include a 2,400 person theatre featuring top-notch performers and acts, a bar and a restaurant.

In 2016 Trace Adkins released "Jesus and Jones," his first single with BBR Music Group's Wheelhouse Records. The anthem about walking the line between Saturday night and Sunday morning is an instant classic from a man with an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other. It's par for the course from Adkins, whose trademark baritone has powered countless hits and sold over 10 million albums, cumulatively. The hit list includes "You're Gonna Miss This," "Ladies Love Country Boys," "Songs About Me," "Every Light In The House," "Hillbilly Bone" (Blake Shelton & Trace Adkins), and "Just Fishin'," to name a few.

The Grammy-nominated member of the Grand Ole Opry is a TV personality, actor, author, and spokesman for the Wounded Warrior Project and the American Red Cross, for whom he raised over $1.5 million dollars as winner of NBC's All-Star Celebrity Apprentice. Thus far, Adkins has performed 10 USO Tours.

In his 2007 autobiography, A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions from a Freethinking Roughneck, the former oil-rigger recounted his rise to fame, brushes with death, and battles with personal demons. Trace has played a tough as nails biker in The Lincoln Lawyer (starring Matthew McConaughey) and a wise tattoo artist in the family-friendly Moms' Night Out (starring Patricia Heaton, Sean Astin, Sarah Drew).
