Customer foils casino holdup

HAVRE, Montana -- A casino customer foiled an armed robber at Magic Diamond Casino using distraction as his technique, Great Falls Tribune reported.

The robber patted the customer down and insisted he get down on the ground while he returned to threaten casino cashiers, the report said.

The customer then rose from the floor, moved towards the door causing a distraction, the robber ran after him, but he managed to enter his car, lock it and call police, the Great Falls Tribune said.

Police are still searching for the robber who escaped with some cash, the report noted.
