Court splits jackpot between rival gamblers

TOULOUSE, France -- A French court ruled that a disputed slot machine jackpot should be shared between both parties, Reuters is reporting.

The case centers around a woman who put the money into the machine, and a man who pulled the lever, Reuters said.

The court ruled the woman, Marie-Helen Jarguel should retain 80 percent of it while the man was awarded the rest, according to the Reuters report.
