Copper Whisk Café now open at The Orleans

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Orleans Hotel and Casino yesterday announced the opening of Copper Whisk Café, a stylish new dining concept serving up breakfast classics and down-home comfort food 24 hours a day.

"Copper Whisk is a taste of down-home hospitality, available to enjoy around the clock," said Tony Taeubel, Senior Vice President and General Manager of The Orleans.

Copper Whisk is a spacious, open café complete with southern charm. The café's modern, distinctive design complements the elegance of its neighboring dining concepts, Alder & Birch Cocktails and Dining and Ondori Asian Kitchen.

Copper Whisk's menu features breakfast favorites, lunchtime staples and more, with unique New Orleans flair sprinkled throughout. Breakfast is served all day, with a variety of omelets, griddle specialties, breakfast pastries and specialty dishes on the menu. Highlights include country-style smoked salmon and eggs, served with grilled artisan bread, red onion and capers; the Jambalaya omelet featuring Andouille sausage, shrimp, peppers, onions, creole sauce and cheese; and the massive Copper Whisk cinnamon roll, so large that it fills the entire plate.

For lunch, The Orleans' famous chicken and sausage gumbo returns to the menu, accompanied by new dishes like the BBQ pork fries, featuring crisp, waffle-cut fries with house-smoked pulled pork, cola BBQ sauce and cheddar cheese sauce; the Orleans Clubhouse sandwich, The Orleans' version of the classic club. The menu features even more wraps, sandwiches, soups, salads, a burger bar and beyond. Dinner stand-outs include the shrimp etouffee, home-style meatloaf and more, all served with soup or dinner salad, a side and vegetables.

Copper Whisk is open 24 hours a day, every day. It is the latest dining concept to debut at The Orleans, following the opening of Bailiwick – The Hub of Bites, Sips and Sounds – in November 2016. Other debuts at The Orleans include the early 2016 openings of Alder & Birch, Ondori Asian Kitchen, and mid-2016 redesign of the Prime Rib Loft.
