Comstock Casino Set to Open in Carson City

CARSON CITY -- As reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal: ``Workers are putting the finishing touches on Carson City's newest casino, expected to open July 1 on the northeast side of town.

"The 9,500-square-foot Comstock Casino will offer 100 ticket-in/ticket-out slot machines and a new restaurant, Lefty's Comstock Diner.

"'We plan to provide a nice gaming establishment for this area of Carson City,' General Manager Scott Tate said.

``...Tate and his partner, property manager Gene Wallace, expect to employ as many as 40 people.

"...The casino has a mirrored entryway and a large, brightly lit children's arcade..."
