Comanche Nation Entertainment collects school supplies for charity

6 October 2015

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Following the success of the flood relief drive last June, the Comanche Nation Entertainment Oklahoma casinos wasted no time in tackling their next charity project, a school supplies drive helping students of local schools. The drive was festively titled the "Back to School Bash." It ran the entire month of July 2015 and the impact was substantial.

Customers of four Comanche casinos — Comanche Nation Casino, Comanche Red River Casino, Comanche Spur Casino and Comanche Star Casino — brought school supplies into their casino of choice in exchange for a compelling prize: free Comanche Credit. The better the donation, the more gaming credit the contributor received, up to $50 in Comanche Credit. The supplies donated ranged from name-brand backpacks to packs of erasers. The most common items donated were pocket folders, spiral notebooks, composition binders, backpacks, crayons and pencils.
