Gaming NewsCecil County slot parlor approved by state23 October 2009ANNAPOLIS, Maryland -- A state panel has approved a 1,500 slot parlor in Cecil County that may open within a year, according to the Baltimore Business Journal. Penn Cecil Maryland, led by Penn National Gaming, is bulding a $78 million facility in Perryville, reports the Business Journal. It is estimated to generate $170 million in revenue by 2015 and employ 320 people. The slot-machine casino is the second in Maryland to win approval. Maryland voters approved slots back in November. |
