Casino Queen revenue up 30% in August

ILLINOIS -- As reported by the St. Louis Business Journal: "East St. Louis' Casino Queen saw its August revenue and admissions soar compared to last August while the Metro East's other casino, Argosy Casino in Alton, had little change in numbers, according to the Illinois Gaming Board.

"The Casino Queen reported more than $19 million in August revenue marking nearly a 30 percent jump compared to last August's $14.8 million. Its admissions also increased from 183,777 last year to 286,754 this August, a 56 percent hike..."
