Casino Planned for Glasgow Shopping Centre

GLASGOW, Scotland – As reported by the Evening Times: "UK'S largest casino operator has launched a bid to open a £7million complex in a Glasgow shopping centre. Stanley Casinos wants to site the new gaming complex inside a proposed leisure extension at the St Enoch Centre.

"…Stanley Casino Glasgow would become the chain's second city venue, after the Berkeley Casino in Sauchiehall Street.

"The firm, which has 45 casinos across the UK and employs around 200 workers in Glasgow, confirmed its plan today.

"… The casino would be allowed to operate up to 20 slot machines - far fewer than a supercasino with 1250 machines…"
