Casino Firm Buying Riverboat

EAST ST. LOUIS, Missouri – As reported by the Enquirer (Ohio): "… Fort Mitchell-based Columbia Sussex Corp. has cut a deal to buy a riverboat casino on the riverbank opposite downtown St. Louis.

" … No purchase price was disclosed.

"…'It's in excellent condition, but we are proposing to break ground on the 25th on a new casino facility, a 'boat-in-the-moat'-type property adjacent to the current hotel,' said Casino Queen spokesman Ron O'Connor.

"The Casino Queen is a full-fledged casino with 1,122 slot and video poker machines, 19 blackjack tables, four craps tables and four roulette wheels."
