Canada: Man loses bingo win to thief

MANITOBA, Canada -- After an winning streak on an electronic bingo machine, a man's bingo voucher was stolen, according to The Winnipeg Sun.

Claude St. Germain had played electronic bingo and won $600, however he did not realize he'd left a part of his winning ticket behind in the machine, The Winnipeg Sun report said.

A quick witted thief nabbed the ticket, cashed it in and took off before staff recognized the error, the report said.

A surveillance camera image was obtained of the thief and an investigation is ongoing, The Winnipeg Sun said.
