Calgary casino icon moves on

CALGARY, Alberta -- As reported by the Calgary Sun: "After 49 years as Calgary's casino and entertainment icon, Frank Sisson said it's time to move on and let the chips fall where they may.

"What began as a small bowling alley in the North Hill Shopping Centre has exploded into one of Calgary's largest entertainment complexes, but Sisson, on the brink of turning 70, decided it's time to slow down and has sold his beloved Silver Dollar Casino for $22 million to Evergreen Gaming Corp.
