Blue Chip Casino GM named

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Boyd Gaming Corporation (NYSE: BYD) today announced Ted Bogich has been named Vice President and General Manager at its Blue Chip Casino Hotel in Michigan City, Indiana. Bogich will oversee all casino and hotel activities at the property.

With 19 years of experience in the gaming industry, Bogich most recently held the position of General Manager at Sam's Town Tunica in Mississippi, where he began his career with Boyd Gaming in 2004. Previously, he worked in various capacities within the industry, including serving as General Manager with Harrah's in North Kansas City and at Louisiana Downs.

'I am delighted to join the talented team at our Blue Chip property in Michigan City,' Bogich said. 'I am excited about our expansion plans including the new hotel, restaurant and convention facilities scheduled to open in late 2008. My wife Gretchen and I are also looking forward to becoming a part of the community, along with our two children.'
