Blackpool gets second chance

BLACKPOOL, England – As reported by the Blackpool Today: "Blackpool is to get another chance to argue it should be given the UK's first supercasino licence.

"All the bidding towns and cities have been invited to submit evidence to a House of Lords Select Committee set to meet next Tuesday.

"Casino Advisory Panel chairman Prof Stephen Crow has also been called to appear before the committee to explain how the panel came to its controversial conclusion.

"A minister from the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, thought to be Sports Minister Richard Caborn will also attend.

"Bidders have been invited to submit written evidence to the committee by 8pm tomorrow and Blackpool has confirmed it will be taking up the opportunity…"
