Black Oak Casino introduces concert series

20 March 2018

(PRESS RELEASE) -- In an effort to further extend its brand as a premier entertainment destination, Black Oak Casino Resort is pleased to announce a new concert series, to be held May–October, at their new Westside Pavilion. Country superstar Justin Moore will headline the resort's inaugural show on 25 May.

"At Black Oak Casino Resort, we are always looking for new, exciting ways to entertain our guests, and this amazing venture is a logical addition to our already extensive offerings," said Aaron Moss, general manager of Black Oak Casino Resort. "This is a great opportunity for us to bring first-class entertainment to our resort."

Black Oak Casino Resort's concert series will be kicked-off by multiplatinum-selling entertainer Justin Moore on Friday, 25 May. His unique sound is a blend of down-home roots-style country and classic rock 'n' roll. For nearly a decade, this chart-topper has been making his mark on fans all over the country and on country radio. Fans will delight in hearing his array of chart topping hit singles like "You Look Like I Need a Drink," "Small Town USA," "Bait a Hook," "Til My Last Day" and "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away."

The series of concerts, with a focus on country acts, will also include classic rock, alternative rock and pop, and is being designed to encompass many music genres. The new Westside Pavilion seats up to 6,000, with 2,500 seats and 3,500 general admission, plenty of free parking onsite, with shuttle service to and from Black Oak Casino.

The Westside property, formerly known as the West Side Lumber Company, is located off of Tuolumne Road, six miles east of the Mono Way intersection. Westside is a unique treasure, having significant historical and cultural resources, and is in keeping with the Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians' commitment to preserving, protecting and enhancing traditional ancestral lands. The 328-acre site is a welcoming environment for many events.

The Westside Pavilion will be nothing but the best in technology with the largest video screens of any outdoor venue in Northern California. Every seat in the house will have a great view. In addition, Westside will feature the latest in sound system technology and visual effects.
