Birmingham plans set for approval

BIRMINGHAM, England – As reported by icBirmingham: "Plans to open a large casino at Birmingham's NEC as part of the Government's shake-up of gambling laws are set to be approved by council leaders.

"Birmingham City Council is set to back plans to build one of eight 'large' casinos at the Solihull site.

"At a meeting on Monday, councillors are expected to approve a scheme to build a hotel and leisure complex alongside the casino.

"If the proposal is rubber-stamped by the Government, NEC Ltd wants to move ahead with its plans as quickly as possible and hopes to have a developer on board by the end of the year..."
