AGA Presents Charity Golf Tournament

29 March 2005

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Reconfirming its deep commitment to the gaming industry, JCM American is partnering once again with the American Gaming Association (AGA) to present the 7th Annual JCM/AGA Golf Classic. The annual tournament is a fundraiser for the National Center for Responsible Gaming (NCRG), and is slated for Monday, April 25 at the picturesque Revere Golf club in Henderson, Nevada, one of Nevada's finest golf courses.

Now in its seventh year, the JCM/AGA Golf Classic attracts the biggest names from companies across the gaming industry, including operators, manufacturers, suppliers and media. Last year's event raised $77,000.00. Organizers hope to raise $80,000.00 this year.

JCM President Aki Isoi said, "JCM has supported the gaming industry for decades, and we are very proud partners with the American Gaming Association in supporting the vital research conducted at the National Center for Responsible Gaming. We invite everyone from across the industry to become involved and support their important work."

Frank J. Fahrekopf, Jr., President and CEO of the American Gaming Association, said, "JCM is a leader in this business not simply for the equipment it produces, but also for its contributions to issues of concern to our industry and communities. We are grateful for the work of Aki and his colleagues at JCM, who have become an indispensable supporter of the NCRG over the last seven years."

Dennis E. Eckart, Chairman of the National Center for Responsible Gaming, said, "The JCM/AGA Golf Classic serves not only to help raise the money needed to fund the NCRG's work, but also to raise awareness of problem gambling among gaming industry leaders, which is equally important as any contribution the NCRG receives."

There are multiple ways to support the 7th Annual JCM/AGA Golf Classic, including entry fees and a variety of sponsorships. Individual entries begin at $325 and a foursome is $1,300. Registration and information is available by calling Jill Grismer at JCM at (702) 651-0000. Deadline for entry is April 4.
