27 February 2002

NEW YORK -- (Press Release) -- Internet gambling firms internationally planning on doing business in any way in the U.S. should attend the 2nd Annual Annual World Internet Gaming Summit on March 21-22 in Miami, FL.

Online sportsbooks and casinos and other related entities attending the Summit at the Sheraton Biscayne Bay will hear Jeff Modisett, currently a partner with Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, provide, for the first time, the inside perspective of law enforcement toward Internet gaming.

Mr. Modisett was Attorney General of Indiana from 1997 to 2000, and was Chair of the Indiana Gambling Impact Study Committee from 1998 to 1999. In those roles, he was at the forefront of a number of battles involving a range of interactive gaming issues.

At this year's Summit, he will reveal:

The priorities of the state's Attorneys General

Describe exactly what it is law enforcement officials are looking for,
and not looking for

Detail how online gaming entities should proceed

Other Speakers at the World Internet Gaming Summit will not only explain the current state of the market -- including the development of emerging technologies and e-cash solutions -- but will discuss emerging, untapped areas of opportunity and growth.

This year's Summit will also feature complimentary pre- and post-conference workshops. The pre-workshop, hosted by Marc Lesnick, president of Startcasino.com, will provide an unprecedented opportunity for newcomers to the industry to learn the ins and outs of the industry while meeting the software providers and marketers necessary to succeed, while the post-conference -- to be hosted by Mickey Charles, president of the Sports Network -- will provide a sophisticated interactive experience for established industry players to elevate their businesses.

The conference, which will be chaired by Tony Fontaine, vice president of complex business solutions for Station Casinos, will feature speakers from 6 continents.

Experts from the fields of gaming, law, regulation, and government will include Peter Coroneos, president of the Internet Industry Association; Joseph Kelly, professor of business law, SUNY College at Buffalo; Frank Catania, president of the Catania Consulting Group; John Clitheroe, attorney with Kingsley Napley & Associates; Ted Loh, president of Orient Gaming.com; Steve Toneguzzo of GGS and E-Synergies; Gary Collins, chairman of the Antiguan Betting & Gaming Committee; John Dutton, president of JM Dutton & Associates; Maryann Morrison, president of GambleGoddess.com and CasinoWoman.com; Christa Taylor, president of Poker.com; Ken Weitzner, president of The Prescription.com; Raj Nanavati, partner with the International Biometric Group; Paul Siegel, vp president business development with Global Cyber Licensing.com; and many more.
