1Lucky Gambler Becomes First Casino to Advertise on MSN.com

26 April 2000

ANTIGUA, West Indies, April 26 (Press Release) - 1Lucky Gambler Casino and Sportsbook has become the first casino to advertise on MSN.com, with a two-month banner ad campaign. But according to Monika Owen, Marketing Manager of 1Lucky Gambler, what's more important than the ad campaign is that the casino has exclusive response rights to all casino-related keyword searches.

Negotiations for a one-year campaign to follow the two-month test period are currently underway. The casino was attracted to MSN.com in part due to demographic compatibility. For example, 63.9% of MSN.com's visitors are men, a statistic that reflects the majority of the casino's visitors.

"Research has indicated that online gambling is expected to generate approximately $20 billion in the next three years," stated Owen, "we are committed to capturing a majority market share."

In addition to the MSN.com contract, Owen points to a similar contract with AltaVista. That contract includes exclusive advertising access to AltaVista's "Games/Gambling" category. Additional marketing efforts include banner ads campaigns on Excite.com, Lycos (in Europe and South America) and HotBot (a Lycos network).

About 1Lucky Gambler Casino & Sportsbook

1Lucky Gambler is a one-stop gaming site, where visitors over the age of 21 can access thirty casino games, free Java-based games and an extensive sportsbook. May 2000 will bring live horse racing and by this July, customers will have access to national Lotteries from around the world. Visitors will even be able to post bets on the upcoming United States presidential elections.

The online casino considers the security it provides as a key to their popularity. It has posted the regulatory bodies that they adhere to on their Internet site. The gaming is made available via Starnet software. As a developer, licensor and provider of online gaming technology, Starnet Communications International earned a mention as "the established leader in internet gaming and entertainment" by The Wall Street Journal.

Owen is adamant that all games offered have been independently tested for fairness and that the Starnet software is 100% in accordance with stated rules and payouts. Game outcomes and shuffling cards are generated in a random manner and are comparable to Las Vegas, Nevada gaming standards.
