Why Is The Hardway Set Better Than the 2V Set for Avoiding the 7?

Stickman,
Let me first acknowledge that I am aware that you guys probably have conducted thousands of test rolls before coming to your conclusions about what is the best set.
I just want to know to get a better understanding of the art of dice control. You have stated that the "Hard way set" is the best protection against the 7.
The...

The Effect of Odds For a Controlled Shooter

Recently I wrote an article comparing a pass line bet with placing the 6 or 8 at various levels of dice control. The article compared three different levels of control and the resultant edge for each type of bet. The levels compared were for different sevens-to-rolls-rations (SRRs).
A random shooter will throw six 7s out of every 36 rolls on...

Playing Craps With a $2000 Bankroll

Hi Stickman,
I'm sure you've simulated most every popular system out there. If you had a max bankroll of $2,000, what craps system or strategy would you recommend playing?

I've simulated playing a don't pass bet with odds along with a don't come bet, with a positive outcome. However, in reality, it hasn't worked out nearly as well...

Why Is the Frist Bet So Large in Dice Pilot's Betting System?

Hi Stickman,
I just read your article about Dice Pilot's system.
Why should his first bet be so large compared to what his normal bets are? Risking $6,400 then going down to $110 doesn't make sense to me.
What is your opinion?
Thank you,Joyce

Craps Etiquette Question

Hi Stickman,
Quite a while ago you wrote an article on craps etiquette and there was one thing not covered and it has always been in the back of my mind to ask you about it, so I am.
The shooter whips the dice down the table and one of them careens into my stack of chips on the Don't Pass. A few get dislodged. Do I restack them (touch...

Hi Stickman,
I have read your articles and enjoyed them. I have a few questions about betting that I hoped you would answer.
Which are better bets or does it depend on the SRR? Assume $10 table min. 5Xs odds.

Example 1. $10 pass line with $20 odds when the 5 and 9 are points place 6 & 8 for $30 each and buy the 4 & 10 for $20 each....

Dice Pilot's Betting System

Recently I received a request to analyze a betting system from a Golden Touch dice control student.
Hi Stickman,
I just got back from Vegas this weekend with a successful trip playing with Mad Money, Section8, Rafter, Rough Roller and Dave DaPorker.. We all had rolls frequently in the teens all the way into the thirties. Mad money and I...

Is the Pass Line Bet the Best for Someone Who Can Control the Dice?

Conventional wisdom (along with the math to back it up) states that the Pass Line bet is among the best in the game of Craps. Buying the 4 or 10 for $25 and paying a $1 vig only on wins is slightly better (at 1.3%), but as the buy bet approaches $100, the house edge moves to 1.6%, which is worse than the 1.4% house edge on the Pass Line bet...

More On Buy Bets and Craps Etiquette

Hi Stickman,
I just returned from a week in LV (went to G2E) and just now read your article which I get via Casino City Times.
I spent the better part of a day hunting for a decent craps game.
I normally play in MS where the vig on Buy bets is collected only upon a win. LV was a culture shock in that regard. I won't play where the pirates...
