MGM Resorts International creates four new positions

LAS VEGAS -- MGM Resorts International announced Wednesday it created four new positions within the company’s corporate diversity, philanthropy and community engagement department.

Ondra Berry, Shelley Gitomer and Tony Gladney will assume new vice president positions at the company while Patty Coaley has been promoted to an executive director role.

Berry has been named vice president of diversity and inclusion development. He previously consulted with MGM Resorts on the company’s diversity efforts.

Coaley, who was named executive director of diversity and inclusion development, has directed the company’s diversity education workshop since 2010. The program has trained some 5,000 company employees. Coaley joined MGM Resorts in 1993.

Gitomer, who was named vice president of philanthropy and community engagement, previously spent 10 years with the Nevada Cancer Institute. She has more than 25 years in the management of philanthropic programs.

Gladney, named vice president of national diversity relations, brings more than 20 years of experience in the gaming industry supporting programs related to diversity and community affairs. He most recently served as vice president of National Diversity Relations at Caesars Entertainment Corp.
